We think it’s evocative to choose a mascot for projects. It forces you to consider what elements you want to highlight, and what is a core part of your message.
Elliott is a hermit crab (generic), because hermit crabs have to deal with change all the time. As they grow, they need to find new shells to live in. There is a moment of vulnerability when they’re dealing with change. They cautiously consider the change they want to commit to.
He’s named a bit for T.S. Eliot, because Heidi likes Prufrock, a bit for Elliot Handler, who was an inventor and designer of the future, and a bit for Elliot Page, who knows a bit about change. However, we’re spelling it this way so we don’t have to remember which letters are doubled.

Progressive Delivery, and Elliott, are here to remind you that curiosity, adaptability, and exploration are useful tools to get through almost any change.
